Nicole and I spent the weekend at the Punkin Chunkin World Championship We watched some amazing machines take some otherwise normal pumpkins, and turn them into orange streaks in the sky that could travel upwards of 3000 feet. Think about that?! A pumpkin, traveling over half a mile (5280 feet in a mile . . .
Cartoons of my childhood, meet my adulthood
Cartoons are amazing, end of discussion. I still find them enjoyable as an adult. One of the cartoons I really enjoyed as a kid was Captain Planet. So I thought I would go down memory lane and write a unit test that expressed the most exciting and frustrating part of that show. That only solves paging on my server, for very large collections. There are times I'd like to page collections . . .
Upgrading my development machine

I like when things upgrade in my life and software is no exception. Windows 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013 released today, and as usual I have to go through the sexy dance that is the upgrade tango. So what does my development machine look like today?
